Lene Bladbjerg is a Danish artist based in London, renowned for her thought-provoking works that blend graphic design principles with artistic expression. Born in Denmark in 1974 and raised in Brussels, Belgium, her multicultural upbringing has profoundly influenced her creative journey.

In 1995, Lene attended the Kent Institute of Art and Design in Rochester, England. She later graduated from the London College of Printing in 2000 with a First Class Honours Degree in Graphic and Media Design. During her studies, she gained international experience through work placements in Denmark, England, and the Philippines.

Since establishing her studio in Crystal Palace, South London, Lene has dedicated herself to her practice as a full-time visual artist. Her work is characterised by a meticulous attention to the subtle details of everyday life, aiming to uncover the hidden beauty in ordinary events and objects. She often incorporates unusual, recycled materials into her pieces, reflecting her commitment to sustainability.

Bladbjerg's artistic style is deeply influenced by her background in graphic design. Typography and grids seamlessly integrate into her artworks, creating haunting images and conveying unexpected messages. This fusion of design and art results in pieces that are both visually striking and intellectually stimulating.
